Could Pain In Chest And Breasts Upon Breathing Post A Fall Indicate Bruising?
Hi: About a week ago I feel in my home hitting an arm chair. I fell on the arm of the chair hitting the very upper part of my abdomen right under my left breast, at first I didn t feel any pain, but that an hour or so later I felt pain when bending down or moving a certain way and deep breathing. I also started to notice pain in my chest or breast also upon deep breathing. Do you think I bruised myself or broke something?
As there is a history of trauma, thus following is my opinion: - Is chest pain related to the heart: could be cardiac pain [angina] - Is chest pain related to breathing: could be rib tenderness / fracture or it could be pleural pain [pleuritis or pleural effusion]: Ask for an X-ray chest, WBC, ESR, till then: - Chest strapping: encircles the injured chest for 3/4 circle - Bed rest or rest with minimal movements - Anti-inflammatory enzyme preparations: serratiopeptidase or trypsin / chymotrypsin combination
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Munish Sood, Ayurveda Specialist
