Could Nicotine From Smoking Mask The Sensation Around The Cyst Area?

Hi, I haven't smoked a cigarette in 7 days, I smoked almost everyday for 30 years. My cravings are minimal, luckily, but I do get quick spasms in my sides, sometimes around my left upper chest as well. I am male, 45 years old, 220 lbs, 6'2" tall, no other major medical issues. But 10 years ago I had a epidermal cyst removed (on my back) and now since I've quit it feels like the cyst is growing back...and spreading? Is it possible the nicotine masked the sensation around the cyst area all these years?

hello,
welcome to healthcaremagic.com

this is good to know that you quit smoking, with minimal craving for smoke.
however you feel that your cyst size is increasing since than.
so i would like to make you clear that smoking and quitting smoking have nothing to do with your cyst size.

smoke have no direct or indirect relation with epidermal cyst as per current know scientific facts for both.

though i agree that your cyst size might be increasing, for which i would suggest you to consult a surgeon for an opinion.

for smoking i would suggest you to maintain your abstinence from smoke, as you know its injurious to health.

for any further query do consult me at healthcaremagic.com
thank you.
