Could Knee Pain Be Due To Urinary Tract Infection?

my father (year 55) has 1.1cm stone in kindy left. all the tests are normal but PUS is regular in urine 30-40 or near it. he has also lot of pain in his right knee and some pain in left knee. right knee is litte fat. He is also suffer in RA factor (56) Is Knee pain is due to PUS. And is PUS is dangarous

Knee pain is not due to urinary tract infection. However, there are certain kidney conditions that can cause generalized inflammation of bones and joints. Please discuss with your doctor regarding the RA factor.

Hi,

Kidney stone commonly leads to urinary tract infection.

Pus cells in urine suggestive of urinary tract infection. You have to investigate further with urine culture report to find causative organism. According to culture report antibiotic course prescribed.

Meanwhile, drink lots of water and avoid excess spicy foods intake.

Knee pain is not due to UTI. It can be Osteoarthritis or rheumatoid arthritis.
