Could Increasing Pain In Jaw When Yawning Or Chewing With Pain In Gums, Teeth Be Due To Sinuses?

I have been having incresing pain in my jaw over the past week when I yawn or chew. It is becoming more uncomfortable even when resting my jaw. There is a dull pain in my gums and back teeth and when I press my upper jaw from the outside of my cheek it feels bruised. Do you think it could be my sinuses or like a T.M.J. kind of thing?

hi
welcome to HCM
As you have mentioned your problem regarding pain while yawning or chewing may be related to TMJ disorder.
For pain in your gums and teeth is seems to be periodontal for which you can do warm saline gargles 3-4 times a day.
meanwhile avoid opening wide mouth and at the time of yawing, hold your lower jaw. In our clinic for this we prescribe muscle relaxant twice daily.
for all your problems, you should get your OPG xray done and visit your dentist.
thank you
