Hello,

I've read side effect profiles of the medication Sangobion and find nothing that should strictly contraindicate its use in your case with a history of kidney stones.

But be aware that NOBODY really knows of any complete list of drugs which are KNOWN to cause kidney stone formation.

Do be sure to drink plenty of fluids while on any medication and report complications such as sudden/severe flank or back pain as well as blood-tinged urine or visualization of sediment in the toilet to your doctor.

Remember, those iron tablets have a prominent side effect of HEADACHE as well.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Dariush Saghafi, Neurologist
