Could Green Stool And Blood From Anus Be Only The Result Of Eating Expired Eggs ?
First started with green stool for over 2 weeks after eating 12 expired eggs over a course of 3 days (not the first time eating expired eggs. 1st event eggs were 3-4 months expired consumed in the earlier part of this year, second event recently eggs were approximately one month expired). Now I have very soft yellow stool with what looks like black pepper when I wipe and bright red blood ( probably from my anus from wiping), I do not have a gallbladder, it was removed in 2008. Please help. Thank you.
Hi, It dangerous to eat expired eggs. You run the risk of suffering from salmonella typhimurium food poisoning. I would suggest the following. 1. Stop eating these eggs 2. Short course of antibiotics (ciprofloxacin with metronidazole) After completing a10 day course of antibiotics I would suggest a course of probiotics for at least 6 weeks. I hope this answers your doubt. Regards
