Could Cuts On Penis And Labia Be Due To Any STD?

Hi. I am 22 and my bf is 27. We had the Chlamydia history and were both treated in Sept 2010. We had been using condom after that until last week. During this past week we have active unprotected sex and now we both have cut on penis and labia which sting when urinate. Could this be the reinfected of std?

Hello. Thanks for writing to us at healthcaremagic

Cuts Or sores on the genital mucosa, in you as well as your boyfriend, is definitely not without any reason.
I would like to rule out a possibility of genital herpes. Genital herpes usually presents with sores which are painful, multiple, discrete Or tehy may coalesce to form polycyclic erosions.
The herpetic sores may have a burning Or stinging sensation to the urine passing over the sores.
Incubation period of genital herpes is short (2-12 days) and this seems to coincide with your recent unprotected sexual activity.
I would suggest that you visit a specialist in your region for a confirmatory diagnosis as well as appropriate treatment.

Regards
