Could Burning Skin With Red Spots Be Due To Alcohol Withdrawal?

I stopped drinking on saturday, before that i abused alcohol quite a bit. Over the last couple of days my skin(mainly thighs, and back have felt prickly and a burning sensation. My skin will turn red in spots..then it will clear up, and show up somewhere else. Could my skin feeling the way it does be a result of alcohol withdrawal?
