Could A Hip Flexor Issue Be Related To A Sports Hernia?

Over the last few months I have experienced lower abdominal weakness / tenderness and a loss of strength in my legs when I play hockey. Very recently I have been having my right hip give out when I move laterally. There is some pain associated with it. Could a hip flexor issue be related to a sports hernia?

Hi, Welcome to Health care magic forum.
It appears that there is the arthritis of the right hip joint, and which has caused the stomach tenderness, weakness, etc.
It also may be related to the tuberculosis of the hip joint.
I advise you to consult an orthopedic surgeon for diagnosis and treatment.
You may need to have an M.R.I. and other tests for diagnosis.
I usually prescribe to my patient with such symptoms neurotropic injections for 10 consecutive days, and then periodically, diclofenac, paracetamol, calcium, and multivitamin supplements.
Avoid taking potato, other tubers, tomato, egg, chicken, and sea foods till you get relief.
Wishing for a quick and complete recovery. Thank you.
