Hello there, thank you for writing in. As your HPT is negative, it is quite unlikely that you could be pregnant. However, as you have pcos, your delayed periods could be due to delayed ovulation ( egg release). However, if you have had intercourse at the time of ovulation even if is delayed, there could be chances if pregnancy which will show up later. And so I suggest you to do HPT again after 3 days and if still negative, you are not pregnant. In that case you may choose to wait for a couple of days for your periods or take tab. Medroxy progesterone 10 mg daily for 5 days. You can expect your periods in a week after you stop medication.
You may not benefit from blood test at the moment. And if you have fertility related questions, do write back with all information.
Hope this helps. Good luck!
