Coughing With Green Phelgm. No Help After Finishing A Course Of Penicillin. X-ray Report Clear. Any Other Tests?
My 20year son coughs in morning and night some green flegm, no sore throat , or chest pain, has had X-ray all clear does not some has friends who do. Started at university prescribed penicillins finished course still coughing. 8weeks later had X-ray now 5 weeks still coughing slightly improved are there any other tests for asma etc

I guess there is no fever and he is otherwise well in himself. Sputum test and CT chest may help.
Lung function test will also help but the first two should be done.
