Continuous Bleeding From The Wound After Sebaceous Cyst Removal. Is It Normal?

I had a sebaceous cyst removed on my rear end yesterday and the Dr. told me that there was about a foot of packing in the hole created. Apparently it was the size of a golf ball. It has been bleeding now for about 18 hours, not badly, but still bleeding. The dressing over the packing is completely covered in blood. The Dr. that did the procedure said I should come back in 2 days, but I think I should go back asap. Is it normal to bleed so long, and when should I go back (today or tomorrow as the Dr. recommended)?

Hello friend,
I am a Homoeopath answering through Health Care Magic. It is not unnatural to have a bleeding from the operation site . You have said that the sebaceous cyst was that of a golf ball. The capillaries that supplied blood to the area are not sutured; only the bigger arteries are sutured . It will take time to heal. Bleeding from the site of a wound vary from individual to individual. Depending on the nature of blood, bleeding and your subjective symptoms, a Homoeopathic remedy can be prescribed to arrest the bleeding at the earliest. For that you may please approach an expert Homoeopath at the earliest.
With best wishes for a speedy recovery through Homoeopathy.
