Constant Stomach Pain, Quit Drinking Lot Of Pop. How To Get It To Normal ?
I am 19 years old. Started dealing with stomach pain in late March early May of this year (2013). I have been athletic all my life so far except now. After I graduated high school I now longer play sports. I use to drink a lot of pop but then I stopped drinking pop and I wanted to drink healthier. Well I've been to the doctor, i've been in the emergency room, and nothing is wrong. I'm starting to think it is all in my head. But I don't feel my normal self anymore and it is making me very angry with myself. Pretty much whatever is going on with me is tearing me apart mentally and i'm tired of feeling this pain and I want it to go away and go back to my normal self. Can you help me?
It is hard to answer your question not knowing any details about your pain. Upper middle abdominal pain (if thats what you mean by stomach pain) can be caused by stomach issues indeed. It can be peptic ulcer, stomach inflammation or Helicobacter Pylori infection. It is very common that with stomach issues, all regular tests (like abdominal ultrasound and blood work) are negative. That is why gastroscopy should be done. Please discuss with your doctor about this test. In a meanwhile please avoid fatty foods, spicy foods and coffee.
Hope this will help. Regards.
