Completed Hepa B Immunization. Increased Titer. Should I Take Another Shot?

Hello! I had completed my Hepa B immunization 18 yrs ago and my titer was low , less than 2. I had another shot last month to increase my titer and to accomplish the requirement of my employer. they said I must have 2 shots. Is it advisable to have another shot again or do i need t check my titer before the injection? Thanks!

Hello,
You are considered to be immune if your titre is above10 iu.
You must get your titre checked before taking another shot of hepatitis B.
Normally only one injection should be enough to raise the titre but if found deficient,go for 2nd shot.
Thanks
