Cold. On Treatment For Cellulitis. Connection?

My mother came down with a cold on Sunday morning. She flew in from LA on Tuesday to Colorado and got cold before she got home because her coat was not with her. She is convinced that she got the cold because she was chilled on Tuesday night. I think she got the cold when she went to the ER on Friday to be treated for cellulitis. Who is right?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,
It is possible that she might be having cold due to exposure to cold atmosphere.
But as you said she had cellulitis and gone for the treatment of cellulitis.
So it is more likely that chilled feeling might be due to cellulitis result of some infection.
Go for the treatment of this condition and she will be alright.
Ok and take care.
