Clinical Trial Study Shows Mobi-C Artificial Disc Replacement Injury Due To Implant Hanging Up. What To Do ?
clinical trial study Mobi-C artificial disc replacement injury due to implant hanging up... institution hosting study is denying implant is malfunctioning and i have been advised to consult with my primary doctor and collect evidence to go back to hosting study and be very demanding that it is made aware of..., the implant by now is permanent and can't be removed or replaced it has attached/grown attqaching to the bone c5-6 & c6-7 I have been trying to find a community of clinical trial study group to see if others have experienced similar results, and if so what they have done..?
There is an issue with clinical trials and applicability to the general population. A clinical trial is done on a selected group of patients with particular characteristics. A lot of things still need to be done to ensure that the procedure produces similar effects when applied to the general/real world population. Cost effectiveness are usually needed and may be replication of the trial in other settings to ensure that the results are consistent before they can be applied or generalized. I still think for now, clinical expertise, current evidence and experience of physicians should guide their decision making process, as more scientific evidence is needed.
Thanks and kind regards,
Bain LE, MD.
