Pediatrician 's  Response
Dear user,

These symptoms are typical of a viral fever. The rapid evolution of problems in many different areas of the body and the fact that he is miserable points, most likely, to a virus as being the cause of his misery. Please give him paracetamol round the clock, and keep sponging him with lukewarm water all over his body using a hand towel that is dipped in that water and wrung out 90%.

Give him plenty of fluids by mouth, including milk, juices, soups and so on to prevent dehydration and continue offering light food to keep his strength up.
