Child With Constipation, Flushed Cheeks And Fatigue. What Could Be Wrong?

Hi! My 1 1/2 year old son had seemed to be a little constipated yesterday (per the babysitter). My husband said he didn't seem to have an appetite last night. He had horrible smelling gas and woke up with a messy diaper. He has flushed cheeks and acts very tired. My hisband drops off the kids to babysitter and she just called me and said "something is going on with him". Any ideas? No fever, no vomiting.

Hi ,
Thank you for your query.
Your child has constipation.
Give him a laxative syrup for 14 days.Give plenty of fluids/fruits and fibre in the diet.
An enzyme preparation after food would be helpful.
Consult your doctor if the problem persists.
If you have any further queries you are free to consult me.
Hope this answers your query.
