Child Having Constipation, Hard Stools, Strain While Passing Motion. Have Good Food Habits, Drink Plenty Water. What Can Be Done?

hello doctor, I have kids one is 2 years 3months, & the other is 4 & a half, both are good at eating, & also in take good amount of water daily, but even though they are suffering from hard stools , they wont pass motion freely , they strain when passing,whats the reason for their constipation at this age? is there any tonic or alternative for this?
