Hi, my 8 month-old baby son is diagnosed with eczema and for the past couple of months he developed red rash under his chin & cheek (close to his ear). He s constantly scratching them. Is Daktacort ok for his age & to be applied on his chin area & cheek? Thank you.
I have had eczema on my hands for the last 2 weeks. I am taking a high potency steroid cream to get it under control. but now in the last 2 hours I have a rash on the inside of my right arm - the forearm area, the elbow area and up by the armpit area. It is also on the inside left forearm and on top of the hands. It is red and feels tight like a sunburn.
I am 25 years old. I live in the UAE and am suffering from an acute flareup of eczema. I have had eczema ever since I can remember; and when I was a child, I had been bedridden for months because of infected flareups. But as an adult, I have been able to manage it with a few rashes to my feet. However, since the past 1 month, it seems to have spread all over my body for no reason whatsoever. It appears to be the winter, but I have been through many a winters in the past years without flareups. Why do you think this is? Parts of my forehead and ear are weeping. I am also going through insufferable irritation and pain at night. Not being able to sleep at all. Help me please.
Yes please! My 12 year old son was finally diagnosed with scabies after being misdiagnosed for months that he had eczema. I am very upset and worried that my 13 month old has to use that toxic cream. Are there safer natural remedies? Can she use a sulfur ointment? I read that is safer for pregnant women and babies.
my newly adopted daughter of 10mths has giardia and shigella. In the last 6 days she has developed the worst diaper rash. It is bleeding with open little wounds. No creams are working either antifungal, steroid or anti bacterial. Do you think the bowel infections could be the cause?
my 11 year old daughter has brown flaky patches of skin on the back side of her hands. I believe this is eczema so I ve been using vaseline and hydrocortizone. My question is if it is ok or makes sense to lubricate her hands and possibly keep them in a cotton glove or something to maintain the moisture or will this dry them out?
