Child. Irritated Nose With Slight Fluid Discharge, Red Nostril. History Of Frequent Cold, Cough. Used To Take Budecort And Asthalin Sos. Advice
My son is 9 years old. He is suffereing frequently cold and coughing problem. Last more than one year he used to take Budecort and Asthalin(SOS). Now he is withour medicine. But cold problem comes some times. Now last two dayes, his nose irretating and slight fluid coming. He rubbd for last two days and nostril become red and looks like infection. I am looking for your kind suggestion.

Its good the child got releif without medicines.
Basically it seems to be an allergic problem. I would advice you to get his sensitivity test done for allergies. &grt him a desensetised this will give him a better health& better progress.
the asthalin & Budanase may be used as per need.
The practice of "Pranayama" i.e. breathing exercizes would be help.
Avoiding allergens
About the redness &swelling of nose at present-
local antibiotic ointment he con be given antiallergic tab. (Levocetrizine )& antinflammamatory tab.( ibuprofen)half the adult dose for a couple of days would suffice.
