Can Xanax With Klonopin Be Taken Together?

can you take xanax with kalonopine and how long should you be allowed to to take the two of them. my husband is addicted and is going thru rehab. he was a recovering alcoholic and I cant understand why his doc would have him on these two drugs for a year. he suffers from bipolar disorder

Xanax and klonopin can be taken together. caution has to be exercised as both medications suppress the degree of alertness of individuals. Because he has not presented with any exaggerated side effect for over a year of consumption, I have reasons to suspect that he is doing fine on them. How long it is taken depends on the reason for which it was prescribed and the observed results. ask his doctor to review his treatment so that he can make this decision on whether to continue or not.
