Can Weight Loss Program Be The Cause Of Knee Pain And Hip Pain?

my doctor just prescribed another medicine for my bp which is 132/86 the first was Lipotril (sp?) Had side effects after only one dose. Pain in joints. Couldn t reach above myhead, go up and down stairs without pain in knees and hip pain. Now she is prescribing something else. 50mg of something. I haven t picked it up yet. I am currently on a doctor monitored weight loss program. I am 5 6 and weigh 210.i am 52 years old. Should I take the medication or keep losing weight. I have fatty liver which is what precipitated this.
