Can Use Kojivit Gel To Lighten The Dark Spots On Forehead Left By Pimples And Even The Skin Tone?

Doctor, I have wheatish complexion. But lately I have these small pimple like pores on my forehead area but not anywhere else on face. The dermatologist suggested use of antidandruff shampoo since the condition can be due to dandruff. But the pimples have left dark spots on my forehead. can I use kojivit gel to reduce the dark spots and even out the skin tone?

The dark pigmentation near your face area is known as Post Inflammatory Hyperpigmentation/ Post Inflammatory Hypermelanosis (PIH) due to the activity of melanocytes which are the color producing cells. It is a condition of the skin arising from over activity to the skin resulting in healing with pigmentation.

For your dark pigmentation you can use azelaic acid cream or Kojic acid cream or glycolic acid cream or licorice extract or arbutine creams at night time in guidance of dermatologist.

Most importantly you should have sun-protection to reduce the high activity of melanocytes.
