Can Thyroid Infection Be Related With Headache, Swelling And Low Appetite?

hi, today i have a bad headache which feels like my head is swelling so much its about to explode. Iv taken my temperature and its 34 degrees. My head feels hot but yet I am cold. I have no appetite and feel sluggish. Iv had a tyroid infection last year - could this be related? I am 33 years of age, 5ft 4 and weigh 11st, healthy but do tend to suffer with headaches/migraines fom time to time.

Hi,

The symptoms that you have described can be due to severe hypothyroidism.
Please check your TSH, T3 and T4 levels.
I would strongly recommend seeing an endocrinologist.

Wishing you an early recovery.

Hope it helps,

Regards.
