Can The Bandage Insertion In Error Harm The Graft?

I went through tympanoplasty 4 days back, and yesterday , in sleep i accidentally pushed the bandage inside my ear (which was there to stop anything entering the ear, and soaking the fluid discharge). I can't see it now. I am really tensed. Have I harmed the graft in ear? should i consult the doctor asap?

Hello,

Yes pushing the dressing inwards can dislocate the graft. You should consult the surgeon immediately.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
