Can Taking Ibuprofen And Cyclobenzaprine Be Safe For Pain In Left Upper Back And Neck?

Hello,
I ran into a Accident on Jan this year, X-Rays were taken against left trapezius muscle and T3 and started to feel pain at left upper back and had severe stiff neck. Emergency doctor said I don't have any fracture and prescribed me Ibuprofen and cyclobenzaprine which will help to reduce the pain.

I have consulted Chiropractor after 2 weeks as the neck and upper pain continued. He advised to start with RICE, Laser, Ultra Sound and massage therapy at his rehab clinic.

I still have the pain when I turn neck to my left and some times I feel to have pain in the upper spinal cord area.

I am much worried if there is any herniated disk or injury to disk might have happed and how longer do I suffer these pains.

It's been 4 months and yesterday I had my first MRI for cervical. Still waiting for results.

Can some one tell me what are the further best practice steps to be exercised?

Thanks
