Can Swallowing Chicken Bone Causes Blood In The Stools?

My wife swollowed a small chicken bone and a day later blood started coming out in her stools. She also has been under a lot of stress, and sleep deprivation. She got a good night's rest last night and says she feels better now, but I worry about her.

HI
Well come to HCM
I really appreciate your concern, first it may not be blood in the stool but it seems to be like that and if ever it is the blood then it may not be due to the bone swallowed but it could be due to constipation, I would suggest to forget it and no needs to worry about this, if it is the pain in GI tract or discomfort then better to se the ER hope this information helps.
