Can Sunburn Cause Cut On Big Toe With Swelling?
I recently cut the top of my big toe with a rusty garden tool and in the same day got a very bad sunburn. The ankle on the foot with the cut is now swollen and I don't know if it is from the sunburn or the cut. Let me express that the sunburn was so severe that a trip to the ER was considered. Thoughts on this?

no the cut on your big toe is not due to sunburn...if its from garden tool then you should have anti tetanus vaccine ..also you should use antibiotic prophylaxis ..do daily wash and dressing with pyodine soln..hope it will heal in few days..thanks
