Can Small Piece Of Lens Be Stuck Inside Eye?

Hello, I took out my contact lens and found it ripped. A smaHello, I took out my contact lens and found it ripped. A small piece of the center of the lens was missing and I'm not sure if a small piece of my lens is still in my eye or not. If it's that small will it get stuck behind my eye or will it come out by itself? Would I feel it if it were still in my eye?

Ophthalmologist 's  Response
Hello
Welcome to health care magic.

I reviewed your history.
It seems from the history that you are having a small piece of contact lens probably struck inside. If it is present inside it should be removed because of risk of infection and corneal ulcer.
Hence this needs to be removed if it is present inside.
Hence I advice you to consult your ophthalmologist for examination to look for the presence of contact lens piece and its removal.

Hope the information is helpful to you.

Thank you
