Hello and welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service.

I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

You are having severe abdominal pain, site of which has not been mentioned. The causes can be peptic ulcer, acute cholecystitis, gall stone, pancreas affection, kidney stone (if kidney area is painful and colicky pain).

In gall stone, the pain is to the right hypochondrium region. Your USG abdomen should be done to rule out the underlying cause. According to cause, specific treatment will be given. If it is ulcer or gastritis than omeprazole is sufficient. If it is bacterial infection then antibiotic course is given. Consult a physician for examination with keeping all this in mind.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Parth Goswami
