Dear Friend.
Welcome To HCM.
I am Dr Anshul Varshney. I have read your query in detail.
I understand your concern.
Gangerene is usualy formed as a result of reduced blood supply to that area.
A slight injury can not cause gangrene, if a patient is not a diabetic.
I advise you to get her Blood sugars checked, and get her to a nearby doctor as what you are seeing can be:
1. Granulation tissue
2. Infective pus.
An examination is required for that.
If you wish you may send us the photograph of that area.

This is my best advise for you based on available details.
