Hello sir and welcome.

In adult males, the fever that accompanies the chicken pox can result in lowering of sperm count as is seen with all other infections with fever. But this sperm production returns to normal soon after the infection subsides and the individual returns to normal. But in very rare cases, hardly seen in my experience the infection can also cause a slight reduction in size of the testes that can also permanently reduce sperm production rate.

Hope this helps.

Best wishes.
