Can Premenstrual Symptoms Indicate Early Signs Of Pregnancy?
Hello good morning. My GF took nordette as ecp april 22,2014 4 pills 11:07 am then another 4 pills at 11:07 pm we had unprotected sex last april 19,2014 not really penetrating her but i cummed outside her vagina im scared that some of it got to her vagina. So im worrying right now because its been 13 days and her expected menstruation is today at may 5 (regular 28 days period) she still doesnt have any bleeding. But she has been experiencing PMS for the past 5 days (abdominal cramps, painful breasts, pimples) Can she be pregnant? Or can her period be delayed? Pls help thank you.

Thanks for consulting at my virtual clinic. I have carefully gone through your case, and I think I have understood your concern. I will try to address your medical concerns and would suggest you the best of the available treatment options.
1] Please do not panic.
2] As such she should have taken emergency contraceptive pill only once , if you had unprotected sex between day 10 to 20 of the cycle.
3] The delay in periods and other symptoms can be due to multiple doses of the pills.
4]I will suggest to get morning’s first sample of urine tested for pregnancy.
Even if you are pregnant, you can opt for termination with medicines safely till 9 weeks of pregnancy.
5]Negative urine pregnancy test will suggest that these symptoms are PMS; for which I usually suggest Vitamin E, Primrose, and B LONG one each at night for 3 months.
