Hi

Ovral G is a combination contraceptive pill containing derivatives of female hormones, estrogen and progesterone.

Nausea,Headache,Breast pain,Irregular uterine bleeding and mood changes are some of the side effects of the drug.Short term use for two to three cycles is quite safe.

Most of these symptoms will reduce with time as your body adjusts to the newly raised hormone levels.Kindly identify the cause of menstrual irregularity.

Pelvic ultrasound and thyroid function test should be done to rule out ovarian or uterine abnormalities and Hypothyroidism.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
