Can Nodules On Thyroid Cause Anxiety And Sleeplessness With Paranoia?

i was just diagnosed with "4" nodules on my thyroid (2 on left and 2 on right). Could this be the reason for my terrible symptoms of:
anxiety, sleeplessness, really strong adrenaline rushes with paranoia and agitation that sometimes last for 20 minutes?

Thank you for your feedback

Hello,
As you mention you are diagnosed with a multinodular goitre, but did you check the hormonal level of thyroid? If these (or one of these) nodules produce high level of FT4 or FT3 than they may be the cause of your symptoms. Another examination that i recommend to the patients that comes at my clinic with these symptoms is the measure of the thyrocalcitonine level.
So i would recommend to see your doctor and do some further examinations.
Hope the answer was useful for you.
