Can My Daughter Be Given Triminic For Her Fever And Pain From Vaccination?
My daughter is 2 months old, she just got her 2month shots today.. She has been crying none stop for the past 15minutes.. she doesnt have a fever.. but i have a medicine called Triaminic for Fever and Pain Reliever.. it says to ask a doctor on how much to give her if shes under 24pounds.. she is 11 pounds.. is this what i need to give her or is there somthing better that can help her??

Fever and pain are common after 2 months vaccination. You can safely give her her paracetamol/acetaminophen drops ( dose 75 mg at a time , every 6 hourly) for pain and fever .You can check what Triaminic exactly contains ( ingredients), because there are many brands available , if is contains acetaminophen or paracetamol alone with no other medicines , you can safely use in dose of 75 mg at a time , and repeat after 6 hours.
