Hello,
My name is priya..........I'm taking the medisine METFORMIN to control my insulin level.........Actually sir we r trying for pregnancy........so my Gynic give me that medicine.......After taking this medicine i have a problem of DIAREHHEA.......And from last 2-3 days when I found blood in my stool...... It was a very painful expierence.........I just want to know is it bleeding piles and if it is then what precaution should i take....

hi, metformin can cause diarrhea and bloating. but, diarrhea will not precipitate bleeding piles. since you say that there is pain and blood, it could be something else like anal fissure. you may use soothing creams like SMUTH , sitz bath and if no response, consult a surgeon. hope this helps.
