Can Living In Lower Humidity Area Cause Hairfall?

I grew up in Iowa where the humidity can be pretty high. I had very thick (twice as much as an average woman) very strong hair. When i moved to Colorado my hair started falling out. I went to the doctor, made a few lifestyle changes but nothing slowed my hair loss. Until I moved back to Iowa for a few years to attend college. Within a few weeks my hair was falling out less and less. I moved back to Colorado after graduation and once again my hair is falling out. Could it be the lower humidity?

Hi,

I have gone through your query.
In your case environmental factors causes your increased hair loss. These may include Air and water pollutants, minerals in water, phototoxic effect of sunlight.
High humidity at Iowa may result in lower pollutants so less hair loss.
Life style modifications may play a smaller role to prevent this.
Adding biotin or zinc to your diet in form of multivitamins tablets may also help you out.
