Can Intake Of Prescribed Metaxalone For Jaw Cause Stomach Ache, Headache And Dizziness?

I was taking metaxalone for my jow and my dentist prescribed that for me and then I started having stomach ache, headache, and feeling sleepy and dizzy. I took only 15 pills of this medicine and I would like to know what would be the future side effects. Thank you.

You are absolutely right. You are getting the adverse effects of metaxalone.
The drug is a centrally acting muscle relaxant and can cause drowsiness, excessive sleep, dizziness, heeadache and liver dysfunction.
The drug should be discontinued by this time and if you are having the toothache till this time then you should switch to some safer analgesic like a combination of tramadol & paracetamol.
Also try to salvage the painful condition in the tooth that is the root cause of your pain so the need of analgesics per se will not be there.
