Can Infection In Mouth Cause Lump Above Collar Bone?

hi , i have a small lump moves feels soft above right collar bone. i noticed it 2 days ago i had pain in my tooth , i have to have wisdom teeth removed and he gave me antibiotics to take 3 times a day for 7 days. would the infection in my mouth cause the lump.

Hello! Welcome to HCM.
Yes, this lump can be an enlarged lymph node due to infection in tooth.
But its unlikely that such distant node will involve first. Usually neck nodes are involved first.
Also you are taking antibiotics.
In such situation in my clinic, I would first examine the lump & if required advise FNAC - fine needle aspiration cytology for confirmation of diagnosis.
Treatment is done accordingly.
