Can I Know The Blood Sugar Range To Be A Diabetic ?

hi,im a non diabetic. live in canada.. went to emergency, 3 days ago for pain in upper ribs... there they check my blood and i have blood sugar reading at 8.6... is that mean im becoming adiabetic patient...?

Hi. A single reading of 8.6 surely doesn't classify you as a diabetic. If you have other risk factors like obesity, family history, alcohol abuse then it is of significance otherwise in case of stress or anxiety blood sugar levels usually tend to shoot up. Please get a repeat test done.
