Can Heavy Bleeding, Back Pain And Headaches Symptoms For Pregnancy?
:( I'm 21. I'm currently taking zahara the generic for yasmin. I had my period the 3 rd-7th of this month. last Wednesday I started the birth control. I missed a couple pills then started again and for the past 5 days I have been feeling really anxious and kind of panicky. sweaty. Nauseous. had really bad headaches. abdominal as well as back pain. and yesterday day I started heavily bleeding. cramps have gotten worse and now I have cramps in my thighs. I'm worried any thoughts?
Heavy bleeding that you re having is breakthrough bleeding. You should never miss or skip birth control pills. Your symptoms are due to hormonal imbalance. No worries, continue to take the BC pills regularly. If you had unprotected intercourse while you missed the pills, take progestin-only pills within 72 hours of unprotected sex. You can also take non-Hormonal progestin pills (ELLA) within 120 hours of unprotected sex. Take Acetaminophen(Tylenol) for headache. Stay well hydrated & take adequate sleep.
Take care.
