Can Going Gym Is Safe While Having Lateral Epicondylitis?

My husband who is 46 years old weight 95KG height 5 10. He has been having pain in the right elbow. Doctor ( orthopedcian ) had diagonized as Lateral apicondylitis and has prescribed Hifenar SR for 10 days. The pain is still there. Can he go to gym and do excersices

Hello,

In lateral epicondylitis we advise to avoid weight lifting as well as screwing and de screwing movement exercises from affected limb for at least 3 weeks.
