Can Fluid Accumulation In Uterus Have A Pole Attached To A Sac?
Sir, when i did an ultrasound about 4 days ago it showed a fluid-like sac with pole in the middle attached to the sac. I was delayed for six weeks already and doctor said the pole was around 6 weeks when he measured it but no heartbeat was seen. He said we should check back in a few days. After 3 days i started passing blood, so he checked again and said it was aborted. I was having back and abdominal pain at the same time. Another doctor check me and saw an empty uterus and i did beta HCG afterwards and the result was 0.1. So doctor #2 said it wasn t pregnancy but fluid accumulated in the uterus and the blood and clots coming out from me are just part of the menstruation. Now, i m confused. What really happened? Thank you.
hi... it depends if you had positive urine pregnancy test prior to your ultrasound.. because sometimes the results of early scans are inconclusive ..hence need to be combined with urine pregnancy test or serum b HCG and clinical history... in terms of your length of menstrual cycle ... is it normal or delayed periods you get normally also scan showing the sac to be small or no fetal heart .. has a higher risk of pregnancy loss so it could be either case
