Can Depression Be Treated With Venlafaxine Which Temporarily Was Ineffective?
i have been going threw depression for years. Venlafaxine helped me for 7 years and then just stopped working. i have tried mirtazapine for 6 months witch did not help. the dr has put me back on venlafazine and is sure it will re work. can they re work again? and if so, well they work as well as the 1st time?
Usually a medicine that has worked earlier for you in treatment of depression will work again for you. So there is reason for you to be optimistic. You may expect it to work as well as first time. Even if it doesn't work as well as first time, your doctor has many options including adding another medicine to augment the effect of Venlafaxine. Hope this answers your question.
