Can Constipation Cause Pressure And Pain In Pelvic Region?
I have a sling to hold my bladder it s been a while but now I am having pressure in my vagina and lower pelvic pain and fullness. I feel like if I pee it goes away a little but is uncomfortable . I feel like maybe it came down . I work out a lot and lift a lot weights and I also I had been constipated a lot . Is that the reason why my lower pelvic hurts and has pressure?
Hi. Thanks for your query. Notes your history of bladder sling operation, since then you have pressure in vagina, lower pelvic pain and fullness; goes away a little bit after you pee. You also work a lot, lift a lot of weights and have constipation. The symptoms of pressure in vagina, lower pelvic pain and fullness is most probably due to tight sling or the fibrosis causing this to tighten. Constipation can add-on to the problems. The simple tests is: Take an enema and laxative, let the constipation be treated and see the effects. If it is relieved, this is the reason and continue laxatives, change that diet to have high fibers and have great time. But if three is no relief with, the sling may be the cause and may need re-do.
