Can Alcohol Be Consumed When Suffering From Reflux Esophagitis And Gastritis?

hello,I was suffering from reflux esophagitis & gastritis.Doctor prescribed me to have sompraz 40mg for 3 months and lesuride 25mg for 10 days,Its been two months,i feel fine now. I just want to know.When can i start drinking alcohol,or should i avoid it?

it is better to avoid alcohol while having these symptoms due to its irritating nature to the mucosal lining of the stomach
