Can A Small Clear Bubble On Sclera Be Loose Membrane?
i am a medic in the army currently in afghanistan, i have a pt with a small clear bubble on his eyeball its on the sclera. from what i have researched i think it may be the membrane comming lose be it from a small alergic reaction or us being in a dry desert. I am starting the pt on lubricating eye drops for a few days to see if it helps and i know that if not they move to prescription eye drops. what exactly are those prescription drops tho? anti allergy anti bacterial or something else? also do you agree with my findings?
