Can Tramadol Dosage Be Increased For Severe Nerve Pain?
I am currently taking two tabs Tramadol 4-5 times a day. Chronic pain sufferer with nerve pain for cut nerve in hand during surgery 1997. This is not enough med to control my pain. The last 7 days have been very painful. Can Tramadol 25 or 50 be added to my dosage?
I have reviewed your query and here is my advice. If you are suffering from nerve pain, tramadol might not be as effective since its a different class of narcotic type pain releiver. You might want to discuss use of Gabapentin or Lyrica with your pain doctor to give you relief from nerve pain.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards, Dr. Samuel Parmar
